What happens if I have not sold my house at the time I am ready to move in?
We are able to assist you should you find yourself in this situation. It is possible to you to move into your home in Sanctuary Park Retirement Community immediately and pay a rent for the period until your property is settled. The rental amount can then be deducted from the lump sum once the settlement occurs.
What is the minimum age for people moving into the Sanctuary Park Retirement Community?
Generally it is 60 years for women, 65 years for men and if a couple, the lower age of a couple.
What is the ownership arrangement with the purchase of a unit?
A resident purchases a licence to occupy the unit for life. This is similar to a lease. The resident does not own the unit by way of strata title – Purchasing at Sanctuary Park.
Am I responsible for the maintenance of the house and gardens?
No, Sanctuary Park is responsible for all maintenance connected with your unit internal and external as well as common areas.
Am I able to have family and friends come and visit and stay with me?
Yes, most certainly. There is plenty of visitor car parking for your family and friends. The community centre is an ideal place for you to entertain family and friends or you can also use the resort style gazebo along side the beautiful billabong.
